We Must:
- Create a new state public fund that will provide
dedicated, ongoing funding to increase the supply and
types of more affordable places to live. This Housing
Trust Fund could be used by local communities and
others to build modern, efficient houses, for emergency
repairs, housing-related services, adaptive re-use
accessibility modifications and more. The trust fund
could also make dollars available for rental assistance
(including emergency assistance), foreclosure
prevention, and other needs.
- Keep financially distressed homeowners in their homes
through the Pennsylvania Homeowners Emergency
Mortgage Assistance Program.
